SmoothLife: Conway's Game of Life lifted into continuous space. Each cell integrates the state over an inner disk (itself) and an outer annulus (its neighbourhood), and a smooth birth/death transition pushes it toward alive or dead — so instead of blocky cells, soft glider-like organisms drift and divide across the field.
